Operations Director
Responsibilities
Organize, direct, and control operational activities ensuring production stability, delivery performance as well as continuous improvement, highest HSE and Quality standards for the plants dedicated to Residential Filtration in US
Lead, steer and develop plant managers as well as plant management teams and central functions
Development and execution of regional operations strategies, footprint strategies and business plans derived out of global strategy in alignment with Global Vice President Operations
Regularly analyze, interpret, and relay important financial information impacting regional performance including budgets and financial reports (P&L, margins, etc.)
Lead the PMI integration of two acquisitions in North America from an Operations perspective
Proactively participate in the North America Leadership Team to develop, implement and communicate strategic direction in order to meet company goals and objectives
Ensure compliance with the business principles as well as guiding principles of FFT and Freudenberg
Qualifications
Academic degree in Engineering or Business Administration with strong focus on manufacturing technology
5 years of relevant professional experience in operations management
3 years of experience in dealing with a multiple entity structure (preferred)
Background in automotive and mechanical engineering and knowledge of various industries preferred
Experience in strategic business development
Preferably professional experience in an international corporate environment
Must be Bilingual
Strong reasoning, analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
